    Hi people,

I started playing Warhammer quite recently and I don't know where to look for buying some stuff... I would like to creare my own board for the games and after buying some wood I felt like sth was missing... Yes, the grass. What do you usually do? I've heard lot of options on Google, but I'd like to hear yours. Till the moment, wargaming mats like the ones shold at Ebay are drawing my attention.

I have one of the "PVC" mats like you get on Ebay, easy to store and clean

Hey, thanks for the quick reply haha. The mat you say is in Stock and seems great. But I'd like something cheaper (if possible), but the ones on that shop are awesome, I'll keep it in case I don't find something cheaper :)

By the way, that is the official size? I'm not used to those measures, I'm from Spain and we use cm mostly.

Wow impressive! Did you perform some modifications or you bought it that way?

I bought it like that but I've cut it down slightly to fit my table.

Yeah, I use mats as well, way easier to clean up, and if you get a few you at least have options to build terrain to suit it and get some variety.

Yeah, I guess. The thing is that I prefer non-flat mats... grassy. But PVC flat ones are growing on me.

You can add hills etc, it gives you a reason to make terrain and we all love making terrain. ;)

There could be another Terrain competition in the future.....

    You never know :stig:

You could always create a table top. That way you have greater variation in depth. It will be more time consuming and cumbersome but it will make up for it by looking stunning.

And in the event there is, I shall be there!!! I missed out on the last one when I botched my project :(. It was an epic contest though with stunning entries! I enjoyed voting on them.

    !!!!!!

I agree with darth maul. Not that I am hoping for "revenge," mostly just the "at last" part.

Another terrain competition would be amazing. I need to push my terrain building to the next level and a contest might very well prove to be just the right motivation to do so.
