What type of foam is used for making terrain.

basically this si what I wanted to do, because of my new water obsession I wanted to make a sortof swamp.
yknow that kind of swamp with trees growing out of it. so I wanted to make a somewhat deeper pit, put citadel trees in it then fill it with realistic water.

I've used the pink insolation foam from Menard's (it's a home building/repair/decor shop). I think it's official name is styrospan.

EDIT: I lied. Stryospan is blue foam but it works just the same.

ANOTHER EDIT: If you have a Home Depot in your area, the pink foam is sold under the brand name "Rigid Foam Insulation," and if you have a Lowe's in your area, the blue stuff is sold under the brand name "Dow Foam Board."
