Artist Matthew Klaas de Witte is currently starting on an exploratory project to map out new concept artwork for Human natives of Albion.

Find out more in the description for each art piece on DA that will be linked-to here, and if you very much like the concept or have ideas to share, be welcome to also leave a comment below his Deviantart pieces.

First out, Buddug of the Toulenii:

An intriguing piece! Love the Warhammer interpretation of a hillfort in the background! I was going to say Buddug looked a bit too Scottish with the kilt and sash (the Scots are completely unrelated to the Ancient Britons despite their claims), but realising she's female it makes a bit more sense.

Cheers, folks! I'm sure de Witte will appreciate reading all comments of yours here. :)

@pendrake : No, this is for Warhammer Fantasy's Old World Albion.

I like this second drawing better than the first. Nice Eagle.

I do have some burning questions though.

Who painted Woad on the Ginormous pig before it was killed? :cyclops: Was it someone’s pet? Was the Woad added post-Mortem? Why did the hapless pig-keeper need to Die? ;)

There is the biggest ^ version of the map I could find. (There is a big pig on it...)

I would like to see this:

“...official artworks of the natives of Albion and noticed the presence of Great Eagles in the picture so...”

...Picture. @Karak Norn Clansman do you have a copy of it? ever seen it? ...wish I could find my old Albion booklet.

@pendrake : Very nice map upload!

No, sadly not. Albion was a little before our entry into the hobby. Youngling here. ;)
