So I was just randomly thinking about my car kangarooing a bit last night, and came to the realisation that since kangaroo is Aussie the term would probably be different overseas and had no idea what it might be.

Let me try to explain what I mean by kangarooing... In a manual car (if it happens in an auto, you're in trouble lol) if you don't time the pedals right, or let the revs get too high or too low, the car kinda jumps and stutters along the road a bit. Also when it is about to stall. This is kangarooing. What do you call it on the bottom side of the world? :p

"grinding the gears" or "jump" - "jumping" but the old standby swear words seem to me to work the best
