I've always want to do it, but I wasn sure if my idea was good. What do you think of putting a skink priest on a terradon for an additional 35pts?
Yeah, but if he does that he can't join a unit of Terradon's riders, and he can only mount Stegadon. It's good, but a Stegadon is better for close combats and when you put a skink priest you must (if you want him to live) stay back. So with a terradon, he can move faster, escape faster and has an armour save of 5+.
Well this is the House Rules subforum, so in theory anything goes. have an excess of Skink Priest models. I was working on a Skink Priest on Horned ONe just before our new army book did not include Horned Ones. I plan to still finish my conversion eventually. I was also planning to do a Skink Priest on Terradon conversion for fun. I doubt many people would complain if you took a Skink Priest on a Terradon in non-tournament games. It hardly seems unbalanced. I don't know if I'd prefer to run my Terradon Skink Priest with Heavens or Beasts, both seem appropriate (I tend to paint my Heaven's priests blue and my Beasts priest dark green). Undeath is nice on flying wizards too, but I'm not sure a L2 caster would get much mileage out of it. I guess for Beasts I'd include a Skink Chief in a unit of Terradons to make a super flying mini-bus. For Heavens I'd keep the Terradon unit small and focus on being a Slann channel more than anything.
I'd like a unit of Kroxigors on terradons, with I10 and a great weapon with ASF instead of ASL! On topic, I think that a Skink priest on a terradon would look really cool, especially if he could join units of terradons. That would be fantastic IMHO.
