Thinking I might try a revival on this one.

    Start date is February 1st
    .
Challenge is Tzunki, what I want you to try is something along these lines.

In honour of the water God, you will sculpt webbing, sails, paddle like tails (something along the lines of the tail on my salamander), or gills (if you're feeling brave) on a model out of the following four. As with last time it DOESN'T HAVE TO BE A GW MODEL.
    • skink.
    • saurus.
    • kroxigor.
    • Salamander.
Why are you still reading this post?
Grab your putty and get those tools! GO GO GO GO GO GO GO!

That is a great opportunity to finish my salamander conversion! Is it ok, if the original model is a toy and not a miniature? Won't wait for a reply and start sculpting when I'm back home anyway... ;):p

Alrighty....so yes double post, BUT there's a good reason for it.

Hopefully no-one has start just yet, because I've thought about something a little different.
The people in my local gaming group have all decided to go with making themselves blood bowl teams and although there's no Lizardman team minis out yet, I've thought....this could make for a VERY interesting challenge.

So if there are no objections, the above challenge will be for February, but for this month and January, I want you to convert a mini for blood bowl.

    BLOOD BOWL

    • Convert it however you like, helmets, knee pads, shoulder guards, shorts, coach's hat or whistle, go nuts on this.
    • Can be whatever you want, even cheerleaders, balls, injury markers...a skaven blitzer who decided to get in the way of the Kroxigor big guy.
    • Doesn't have to be GW minis, again, freedom of choice on this, go with whatever gets you excited and inspired.

Well, I'm going to miss the deadline, but I might be able to make something for Tzunki... and then when the Blood Bowl contest is long-dead I'll have something for that.

I've been quite busy at college the last time... but I managed to cut of the weapons of some skin's hands and put some greenstuff on it's head that's roughly shaped like a helmet... ;)
Have to admit that blood bowl is not the game I'm playing... So when I found time to hobby around I often ended up doing something else... But might finish the conversion till Wednesday... if not I hope it's okay if we show up a little later...;)

    That's ok. :)
Give it as good a shot as you can, but don't run yourself ragged (the same goes for the rest of you, do what you can, there's no shame in not having it 100% finished).

Treat it like the dwarf deathroller (so yes you can).

    Yes, by all means.

    Good luck!

Here we go... two weeks delay, but hey that's nothing compared to the Deutsche Bahn. ;)

So first I had to choose a model to convert... had three skinks to choose from
    20170314_202647.jpg
Took the one in the middle... cause he's running and I thought that fits to a sports themed game...
    Gave him a helmet...
    20170314_204829.jpg 20170314_204839.jpg
And some protection for the knees
    20170314_213607.jpg 20170314_213616.jpg
That turned out more difficult than I thought... but somehow it turned out ok...
    20170314_213641.jpg
Could have added some shoulder pads for a more footballish look but thought I just show off my simple conversion as it is... I guess if one concentrates on it one could do this (and maybe 10 more) in one healthy hobby session...:p;)

    Alrighty!

I'll get to this as soon as I can, I'm tinkering at the moment with some bits and pieces, so want to see how that pans out first.
