Hello y'all! Since I'm on the horse of Motivation Posts, I decided to make a little painting blog of what I am currently working. 2020 is the year of Seraphon. Thus, I decided that I'm going to finish all my Seraphon miniatures, and then go to Tau once more. My shame log looks like this: I recently enrolled in an AoS Campaing, in which every month I must paint some points, to add them into my list, and play. My army for the Campaign is this: In here you can see my 3D-printed Carnosaur, 20 skinks, 10 Guards, 20 Saurus warriors, Starpriest and Bastiladon. I will Start with 300 points, which are the Oldblood and 5 Guards. Let's do this!
June 2020 Update: I almost finished the first batch. Here are the photos, the finished ones I'll post them next week:
Awesome start of an army! I like the Carnosaur really much, bad ass pose Great resamblence of the WTW video's Good luck getting all painted in time Grrr, Imrahil
Ok, so one week later, I have finished all the models! I'm pretty proud of the Carnosaur, which I printed, modeled with greenstuff and painted. Now, for the next ones!
Thanks a lot! I would like to print another one, but I would need the Saurus rider too (and I want the original gw one), so when I find it, I'll print it
I am a big fan of all the dinosaurs (although bit disappointed in the Carno's 8th edition rules ). Your painting is amazing! Particularly like the basing on him.
Thanks! It's a mix of 3D-printed base and several pieces of natural scenery, with brown pigments to make it more real
21.07 Update: I'm on my way to paint the rest of the guard (5 more) and a more datailled starpriest Guard skin finished. Making the bones and leather (same base color) Starpriest needs more care. The skin has shadows and some lights, but I'll glaze the feet to make a gradient. All is made as scaly skin
