    Makes perfect sense to me.

Both series are fantastic and both are different from each other, while still remaining in the same universe.

And more importantly, Discovery and Picard have no votes!

A lot of things have no votes it seems.

That doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad show. I like Voyager. I like DS9 and Next Generation more, but I'm mildly surprised Voyager has zero votes.

I like the cast of Voyager and I like the new and different people they meet.

Voyager has a few things I don't like. My main problem with it was the show kept resetting to the status quo.

There are lot of two part episodes, but for the most part you could watch Voyager out of order and not lose much comprehension.

Voyager gets damaged a lot but it's always repaired with a new paint job by the next episode.

I would have liked it if Voyager gradually got more dinged up as the series progressed. Maybe they lose a few pieces and have to graft on something salvaged from a Delta Quadrant ship.

Voyager was lost off the edge of the map with no Starfleet support, but they had still had replicators and holodeck adventures.

They lost between 10 and 17 shuttles. Where do all the shuttles come from?

Why I don't just link this article covering why the producer for Voyager left after two episodes to make Battlestar Galactica.

That said, for all my misgivings about Voyager, it's a good show and I enjoyed watching it. I just don't feel like watching Voyager multiple times like I do with DS9 and the TNG.

Not all shows with zero votes are crap shows, but all crap shows have zero votes.

    That would have been interesting.

I went and found my previous response to this question, and updated it for what my opinions currently are. Please be warned as I am about to commit some heresy.

    1. Original Series- still my favorite, as I grew up with all the reruns my mom and uncle had taped as kids.
    2. Next Generation- number 2 but a really strong number 2, and the best if I just want to watch random episodes in no particular order and am tired of the Original. And my grandfather looks like Captain Picard (RIP Daddy B :()
    3. Deep Space Nine- could easily edge out into the top spot. Loved watching it, and I think it is the strongest of the three series as a whole once it got going.
    4. Picard- watched every episode except the last one, though I read its plot. I enjoyed the show, it was a nice return to the series for Picard and to see what the federation and some of the characters I have been missing have been up too. It was cool to see the show fit into the Star Trek Online timeline pretty well too. And I have a soft spot for Patrick Stewart (see #2). Although
I don't think there should have been a second season, as it would have been a better send off for Picard's character for him to stay dead. Production studio has to make money I suppose.
    5. Discovery- Watched the entire first season and started the second one, but got distracted and haven't found time to go back but I plan to at some point. I actually enjoyed this show, I didn't loose interest like I did with Voyager and Enterprise, although it was really hard to make it past the first episode. I enjoyed it way more than I did Enterprise, which just felt way too bland compared to this show.
Main character was occasionally a Mary Sue and made some dumb decisions; though it felt more like it was because the plot was poorly contrived, as was too forced to be natural at times. But it was neat to see the "origins" of star trek reimagined in such a way.
    6. Voyager- still don't care for it. Same reasons as before, also I can only listen to Janeway say "back in my academy days" so many times before I turn the series off. And why would I watch this show if I could just watch Next Generation or DS9? There were a couple episodes I did like though.
    7. Enterprise- still don't care for it, less than Voyager. The Andorians were pretty cool.
Apologies for the heresy, but Captain Kirk was shocked when I told him about my opinions of the Picard season and Discovery. Glad I watched them so I could form my own opinion though. I was pretty shocked how violently angry both shows had made many star trek fans, that is the main reason why I decided to sit down and watch them for myself.

Star Trek Picard has a season 2 in the pipeline and Star Trek Discovery has a season 4 in the pipeline.

At a certain point, I have to stop believe that the decision makers at CBS/Viacom are not acting foolishly or falling back on the sunk cost fallacy.

They are trying to lose money and they are trying to kill the Star Trek brand.

I don't see any other explanation.

    2 or 3 came from series other than DS9, but yeah. 23rd, 74th, 95th

I like in Star Trek Online that at the end of every conflict story arc a Ferengi character will comment on the 34th and 35th rules of acquisition.

109 is probably my favorite. 112 is probably the most important :)

Actually a lot of them are good. I've thought about "You can't free a fish from water" more than once when playing office politics at work.

Some of the non-canon ones are pretty good.

Small print leads to large risk. (8)

Take joy from profit, and profit from joy (55)

I don't like the non-canon ones that give specific advice for Klingons, Vulcans, etc because supposedly the Rules of Acquisition were written before the Ferengi had interstellar ships.

The comprehensive list is here by the way.

Only slightly surprised that mine is still the only vote for Picard.
