The next thread in my project series. I promise I do not intend for too many of these.

This thread is specifically designed to contain anything related to my ventures in 10 mm and other small scale items.

As most of you know, I run a 3D printing service that sells 10 mm models. As such I have to paint some for my web store or get them painted in order to have web store photographs that showcase fully painted examples.

In addition to these various one-off paint jobs for the business I have two current permanent warmaster 10 mm scale armies.

    1. The legion of Tzlatlan, my small scale lizardmen army. Partly a work project to show off the expanding Forest Dragon reptilians range.

    2. Armies of the End Times.

One of the major things that drew me to the Lore of Warhammer was the well thought out pantheons of Gods. Especially the four pillars of the dark gods of chaos.

As a kid, cuz I got into this when I was 10, I swapped between armies constantly because I wanted to paint different things and I didn't realize there was a concept of an army behind these figures. They were just cool model kits that I can get at the game store.

As you all know, my first Army for Warhammer fantasy was 28mm skaven. Although my conception of the race as a whole has changed throughout the years, both from depictions in the lore as well as an adaptions like Warhammer Total War, I still consider them part of the "chaos" factions.

Actually, I could probably start a good lore thread discussing skaven lore and explain my perceptions so that I have them written down.

Anywho, I could never afford the full chaos undivided Army I wanted in 28 mm so I settled for skaven as the individual faction I enjoyed the best.

While now I could technically achieve this in 28 mm, space concerns make 10 mm both more appropriate as well as much easier to stage growth.

So you're going to see a combined chaos Army for all of the great Powers as well as their demons, the skaven, and chaos dwarves.

Today, I have begun work on the skaven by priming some swarms, a plague priest, and some extra stuff I printed ages ago as test prints.

Progress in this blog may be slow (as I do not print much for myself at the moment - to focused on making sure orders get out) but I promise for some.

I painted these last year, but I wanted to make sure they were photographed in this thread. PXL_20220509_052522984.jpg

You've done a great job of painting these, considering how miniscule they are!
