I don't know if anyone else knew about this one, but Blood Bowl is being made into a video game. As of now it's for X-Box 360 and PC. And it has Lizardmen confirmed!!! They have screenshots of the scaly ones versus the Dwarves, and the obvious Humans and Orcs (Like we care about them here anyway.) Link is here: http://www.bloodbowl-game.com/#
Haha that game looks fun, the lizardmen look awesome in it. I think I might have to pick up that game.
This look a lot like super mario strikers charger! If gameplay is anything near as good, I think we'll have a hit!
Well, some interesting news I picked up from another fansite. Release of the game was postponed to June. Reason: Debugging the "Maddenesque" Real Time game (for X-Box 360). The turn based part of the game is ready to go, but because this part of the game is what is hopefully going to hook the fans that aren't already interested in Blood Bowl as it is.
I'll gladly put in a few bucks to smash an ork to the ground with a kroxigor real time, so guess it's worth the time waiting
I heard rumours of this a looong time ago... It looks pretty cool, now that there is solid info and pics. I'll have to have a look at a couple of the trailers after uni. I have only played a couple of Bloodbowl games, mostly due to lack of opponents, but it looks like it would be heaps of fun, especially in a tournament.
Now thats just great, borrowed money from my mom and promised not to buy any more games before I'm going to the states and now you come and tell this?!
Now? Well... 6 months ago we mentioned this. Its meant to be coming out anytime between now and September I believe. Has anyone played Chaos League? It was made in 2004 by the same people that are making Blood Bowl, at the time GW tried to sue them because it was too similar to Blood Bowl and now they have signed them on to make a proper official version. It is pretty cool, graphics are a bit dodgy though, and the turn-based mode sucks.
It only came out in some parts of Europe though, its going to hit everywhere else in early september. I've downloaded it, just waiting for someone to make a crack. Will probably buy it when it hits shelves anyway, if its any good.
I never have been and probably never will be a fan of buying games online to download. I don't want to spend the money for the game AND my bandwidth and download limit to get the game, and when I buy something I like to have something physical in my hands not just a download. Hell I can download things for free if I don't want to pay for them... Call me old fashioned if you want.
