Hey folks, I am new at Lustria online and want to showcase my Pandora-army that Iam working on. First I painted all my troops in normal Seraphon-style, exept my Ripperdactyl, which I converted into the "mountain-banshee" (Ikran). Than I had a little break in painting. When I started again painting my models, I realised that the Ripper came out pretty ugly, so I painted one of them new (not completely finished) who now really looks like an Ikran (base inspired by "kroxh"). I then decided to paint at least the beasts like other Pandora-creatures. For now I leave you with some Pictures of the Ripper and a "Direhors e"-Cold one, hope you like them. The following projekts I try to finish this week: - finish Ripper (painting) - finish cold-one (painting) - finish Razordon (milliput-conversion,paintig) - Start painting Troglodon (like leonopteryx rex)
Welcome! Cool idea. Also very interesting to see how drastically the added parts change the look of the Ripperdactyl's head.
I approve of this wholeheartedly - I was thinking of Avatar when I painted stripes onto the wings of my Terradons, thinking that the Skinks would be honouring them by daubing sacred warpaint onto them.
I wholeheartedly approve of this also. This will be the second Avatar-Pandora/Warhammer Army I have seen. I got to see one in person, at a GT, in the US, several years ago. I think that one might have used components from LM, HE, WE, to build the army. I want to think it was using the rules for High Elves, though.
Then here an update from Pandora-army 1.2 : Cold one is done and the Trog. got his first layer of colour. I just need to buy a red and a wash that fit's to the Colours.
Found it. It counted as a Wood Elf Army: http://thebeerwaaagh.blogspot.com/2015/10/army-showcase-avatar-inspired-wood-elves.html?m=1 Maybe there will be ^ some inspiration ^ in there somewhere.
Wow, they look pretty awsome! The difference between his/her and my amy is, that he/she converted the troops completely, while I am going for a seraphon-shape with some elements from avatar.
Amazing work, you have painted them so well! I have seen these guys before, my brother has attempted something similar with his warhawk riders and dragon!
Hey guy's, I'm sorry I left this blog without an update for so long but school goes on and stuff. Nevertheless I painted a lot and yes @pendrake ,this army was an inspiration. When I saw his banshees, I thougt my Ikran is too much Ripper, so I rippered him apart and got put made him new with some milliput. I was pretty satisfied with the result and did the same with the others. Second big deal was the Razordon wich I finished. Last but not least is the Troglodon that is finished to, lets say, 48%.
