I've been lurking (mostly) around here for a few months and decided its time to introduce myself. I was introduced to Warhammer last November by a couple of friends who have been playing for years. After researching the play syles of the different armies, I decided that Lizardmen were for me, and I haven't been disappointed. The army offers a straight-forward (Saurus-heavy) style which is great for new players like me, but there are plenty other options to add as my skill improves which can totally change the style of play. It seems like the perfect mix to me. (And you can't ignore the "cool" factor of lizards riding dinosaurs ) I only played a couple of games before I joined a local league (the Great Lakes Warhammer League). My record isn't great (only 1-2 so far with 2 games remaining), but I'm getting better each week. Finally, I want to thank the admins and participants on this site - it is a GREAT source of information and advise for new players. Thanks to everyone.
