Because this is not seraphon related. First game of AoS in 6 months Clanrats and clawlord tore down the gore gruntas after he whiffed the charge. Rat ogres held well against the are Boyz, especially with the packmaster buff. Nothing super amazing happened during the game, but the warlock zapped himself.
We had already set up before we realized that. We head-cannond it as the warlock engineer casting a spell to make the stormcast think the skaven were free people's militia
With a Flesh Eater Courts Charnel Throne sticking out of their deployment zone... That game reminds me a lot of a multiplayer Fantasy game I played in my local GW where my Dwarfs allied with High Elves and Warriors of Chaos players to battle an unholy alliance of Skaven and Daemons of Chaos. Crazy stuff.
I like the idea of a Warlock Engineer somehow tricking the Stormcasts into thinking they were Free Company. "No, man-things, we are Free Company from, um, Rattatooey! Yes-yes, Rattatooey!"
Were the the Chaos creatures deployed split-up? Or was it two different Chaos armies with the Orcs holding the Center? I could believe they got driven away ...leaving it behind. @Lord-Marcus how many gamers/generals was it per side ? 3v3, 2v2, 2v3?
I played in a game like that...I had a mostly proxied Chaos Dwarf Army. I think it was WFB6 about 1500? Pts. 3 little armies each side. That is funny, a greater Scroll of Illusion or some such.
