Hey Guys, This is my first post and I want to have some opinions on this list Leaders: Kroak 430p Slann, General, 260p incandescent retrices, great rememberer Astrolith Bearer 160p Saurus Eternity Warden 140p Skink Starpriest 80p Oldblood on Carno 240p Battleline: 10x Saurus Guard 10x Saurus Guard 5x Saurus Guard 400 p Behemoth: Troglodon 140p Battalion: Eternal Starhost 150p The idea behind this list is to summon as much mobile stuff as possible and park the Slanns behind a guard screen to cast for a lot of mortal wounds, using the troglodon as channel for range.
I love the idea of using 2 Slann to churn out CCP. Thanks, OP, never thought of that! If summoning is the goal, would it be worthwhile points-wise to downgrade Kroak to a normal Slann? edit: whoops! didn't knowit's only the general.
Yeah. Still can work, with the Slann doing the summoning and Kroak nuking. I only tried it once though and rolled badly, so I am not sure how reliable it is. Welcome to Lustria!
Welcome to lustria! some problems with this list: 1 - "to summon as much as possible" means your slann won't be casting too much. So you don't need the Troglodon. Save those points and pick a Vortex plus something else. 2 - your slann will cast 1-2 spells at most, using our lore to deal MWs. the starpriest will serve as vassal as well if there's need 3 - I suppose you are planning to deal MW basically with double LoSaT Kroak, am i right? 4 - eternal starhost in not a strong battalion… if you plan to keep it as Slann protection, you are wasting points. you could simply form a barrier with 10 knights.
Here is how I run double Slann: Allegiance: Seraphon - Mortal Realm: Ulgu LEADERS: Slann Starmaster (260) - General - Command Trait : Great Rememberer - Artefact : Miasmatic Blade Lord Kroak (430) Saurus Astrolith Bearer (160) - Artefact : Light of Dracothion Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (100) - Artefact : Betrayer's Crown Skink Starpriest (80) Knight-Incantor (140) - Allies UNITS: 5 x Saurus Knights (80) -Lances 5 x Saurus Knights (80) - Lances 5 x Saurus Knights (80) - Lance 3 x Razordons (120) BATTALIONS: Firelance Starhost (150) Dracothion's Tail (80) ENDLESS SPELLS / TERRAIN: Balewind Vortex (40) Chronomantic Cogs (80) Everblaze Comet (100) TOTAL: 1980/2000 EXTRA COMMAND POINTS: 2 WOUNDS: 87 Units in the Heavens: Lord Kroak Saurus Astrolith Bearer Saurus Scar-Veteran on Coldone One 5x Saurus Knights One 3x Razordons The goal of the list is to spam mortal wounds and kill enemy support heroes with Kroak and the Everblaze Comet while thinning hordes with Betrayer's Crown and spells from the new Seraphon Lore. This is a two drop list and should allow for the army to dictate first turn. Generally it will be best to take the first turn when the most targets are grouped for both the Everblaze Comet and Kroak's Spells. Once the Slann Starmast is on BwV it should have range to use Stellar Tempest on a horde unit. Quick Guide: Drop Lord Kroak and the Saurus Astrolith Bearer in range of enemy units. Unload Kroak's Mortal wounds. LoSaT both Kroak and AB to Safety. Deploy the ScV on CO near an enemy horde that is out of range of your Slann's spells. This is to use Betrayer's Crown in the combat phase. Deploy the Saurus Knights near the Co for support. Cast Everblaze Commet. Cast Cogs from Skink Starpriest near Slann. Cast BwV for Slann.
Hi, I'm new to seraphon and I was wondering how you get the dracothion battalion with only one other battalion? One of the requirements says 4 battalions from the list of sunclaw, firelance, shadowstrike, and eternal.
My book seems to be borked or something cause it says 4 is needed, but I double checked on a gh19 review video on YouTube and it definitely says 0-4. Thanks for the info.
Ouch. I fear so... it's the firelance starhost and 0-4 other battalions. That's why you gain command points on a 2+ if you pick the max number of battalions
So with dracothions tail I couldn't put a TQ in it cause a unit can't belong to 2 separate battalions cause DT doesn't include the TQ on its list of available battalions?
