You will have to take a Treelord Ancient to do this. He is the only way you can make a woods outside sylvaneth with his ability. Treelord Ancient and Branchwraith will fit nicely in your ally allowance. I have played a list similar to yours before and it's a lot of fun when it gets going.
But is it really worth it then? Treelord Ancient is honestly a quite terrible model on the table, and fielding him just so you can set up 1 wood to maybe (50% chance to roll 7 on 2 dice, potential unbind) summon Dryads from it seems questionable to me. If you want units to grab objectives on the other side of the map, I would grab Chameleon Skinks instead.
Treelord Ancients can at least summon one set of Trees for free via Silent Communion. I still think you are better off taking something else though.
Is it worth it, possibly in the right build. Celestial equilibrium buffs friendly wizards so they only need a 6 on two dice. It's a small buff but it helps make it feel much more reliable. It's best in a pure summoning list, freeing up your summoning points for bigger things while you crank out dryads every turn to swarm objectives. The dryads basically play the role of your skinks, only they are better in combat. The woods also play an important part in blocking line of sight. So if you are playing a lot of shooting armies being able to block line of sight could be useful. I played it a little bit and had some success but shelved the idea for other things I wanted to play.
Man I could've sworn the Celestial Equilibrium was keyworded to Friendly Seraphon Wizards, not just Friendly Wizards.. The difference between needing a 6 compared to a 7 is quite big for consistency. Now if only the Astrolith wasn't discriminating..
Recent leak from new GHB20 shows that Sylvaneth are not our allies anymore. Back to Seraphon - SCE union, guys.
I'd say it is possible that will get an eratta, they have said things in the lead up to the GHB20 realease suggestting it was finished before the Seraphon book was finished.
Since the GHB20 doesnt include points from Cities of Sigmar/Orruk Warclans and onwards, it is pretty safe to assume it was written prior to October 2019. Thats more than half a year ago. I wouldnt be surprised if they changed allies for Seraphon last minute in our battletome but possibly forgot to change it in the GHB20.
Now that they are allies again, I am thinking about exploring this some more. Lots of shooting in my meta.
I just want to make some jungle Sylvaneth to use with my lizards. You can't make me let go of Lustria, damnit!
