So somewhere I saw an Orruk Maw-Krusha converted for a Seraphon army and I've decided to have a go (pretty much the last model I'll buy for my army as I'm over 4,000 points now). So far I have: Added some more horns and tusks to the head (and a couple of feather earrings) Tidied up the asymmetry of the teeth Created a much bigger howdah for the Engine, and a smaller one for the skink priest Smoothed out all of the ork-ish spines and claws to look more Seraphon Primed the mount ready for painting I'm going to paint it the same as my other behemoths (see additional photos) and post more updates as I go.
great and ambitious project to start! I almost feel sad for the Maw-Krusha, because it is a lovely model Interested to see how it will end up Good luck, keep up the good work. Grrr, Imrahil
Update: Haven't done much painting recently but today cracked on and finished the EotG mount (and the Bastiladon). Really happy with the subtle conversions and paint scheme
Magnificent build, I love how the howdah fit on the Maw Krusha. How much overhang is there above his head? Great work. Grrr, Imrahil
