Fantastic work on your aztecs! They look amazing as a massed group. What contrast paints do you use for the skin?
Fyreslayer flesh and G-man flesh. I vary the use rates and intend to further dabble with skin tone ranges
Good to know, they look pretty good with the tones you did. I will have to experiment with these at some point too.
My client accepted my commission scheme for his skorne army. So I've got a bunch more work that has opened up for me.
So I may have did a thing.... Battleship is going to be blue, and the space marine strike cruiser (with eagle prow, because I like them) are going to be from a red armored successor chapter of the iron hands . I got nostalgic for BFG after the recent posts on the forum.
Just popping in to note the following: BFG fleet is primed I've made progress on more skorne. I've decided to batch these in groups of 5 rather than 10. Mainly due to the ungodly amount of surface area on the robes. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy some of the war machine/horses sculpts, but some of these miniatures have really bad structural design
Painted the first Vindictor from my dominion set last night on a lark. Also finished up 4 more praetorians from the skorne commission.
Medbury knows how to make elves that are fun to paint, I've had a blast painting this example elf with two handed sword for my webstore.
Mantic riftforged orcs, with heads from Wargames Atlantic Einherjar. *Cheesy announcer voice* both of which you can get for 20% off at Mcdougall Designs! *End cheesy announcer voice*
