8th Ed. slann and TG

    if you put your TG 5 models wide and like 4 deep with a slann mage priest the 2nd and 3rd rank just have 4 infanti models then it won't get a rank bonus is it?

    You still do, he counts as 4 infantry models for the purposes of ranks.

    Besides this is explained very clearly in the lizardmen army book on page 41, it even has pictures.

    Thanks Strewart, after reading your post, I realized that m slann was on the wrong base size. Gotta fix that.

    Can't decide if it would be more funny for the Slann to be on a tiny base or a giant one.

    My slann came from an ebay auction. It is on the same base as a kroxigor. When in a unit of TG, it does not fit exactly. Strewart stated that it counts as 4 rank and file TG. That is a monster base. I tried a monster base in the unit and it fits perfectly.

    You can measure easy enough, kroxigor are on bases 40mm wide while Slann should be on 50mm bases, so they fit with their respective skink and TG units on 20mm and 25mm.
