7th Ed. 2000 list -- The age of the fast running dinosaur

    Hi all, as i'm having a tournement in a week, i wanted to prepare a list and get some feedbacks. Here, my goal was to have an army very CC centered, that could all cause fear (while making it immune to certain psychology...) AND that could really take advantage of an all 6p base mouvement minimum... so check it out and throw some comments!

    My plan was to keep my 2 blocks close together with my razordons behind ready to get charged to prevent these less maneuvrable units from being out manoeuvred and flank/rear charged... The EotG would have probably sticked with those 3 units and my gen and hard hitting An. Steg would have work as crazy terror causing flankers... so thats about it (planning to be very magic defensive...)

    Sorry bout that (french is my first language) and i didn't notice i forgot to translate my Oldblood's stats:

    Btw for this guy my plan was to make him have as much Attacks as i could to stack with the crazy 75 pts magic weapon... so thats why theres the sword and with frenzy : 7 attacks... i think it could be killer

    FYI, you're only allowed to have 1 magic item from each category. You cannot stack the effects of 2 magic swords.

    Also, if you are playing a 2000 point game you need at least 3 core units. I can't really rate the list as is due to it's illegality.

    I look forward to reviewing the adjusted list though, the current layout seems pretty powerful, if lacking in units.

    To make it legal you could break the skink squads down to 11 and have another squad of 10.

    Major changes are that to get the new skink unit i had to get rid of the 2 DS from the Scroll caddy (wich can no more be called that way...) I still kept him anyway for his dices and an other spell potential... I also switched the Sword of battle with the Enchanted Shield to get more defence on my lord....
    Thats about it... now that its legal :p what do you think about it?

    if that priest on foot is just for defense give him the scroll and hide him because the EoG will draw a lot of fire but a hidden caddy will be safe in this instance and you better check with your opponent because the people I played with won't let the extra 2 points slide if they don't drop the light armor and add a skink

    You still have a weapon issue. You're only allowed to have one purchased weapon. This means that you can't have both the Halberd and the Blade of Realities. The reason: Having a magic weapon means that unless it is destroyed, you have to use it no matter the circumstance. So you're just wasting the points on the Halberd.

    You are able to swap between mundane weapons, why would oyu not be able to swap the use of a magic weapon to a halberd and ignore the magic weapons effect?

    ok so i dropped the hallebard but realised there was a point cost mistake on my lord: without the hallebard but WITH the skink priest, i was at 2000 pts ... i still decided to get an other unit of skink cameleon (as i usually manoeuvre these guys well) to get some more units and shooting wich i felt i was missing... i still hesitate in getting an other unit instead of the skink cameleon or maybe to get my priest back... even if i dont really know what his role will be as im a very CC player

    well thats it... if u can help me out once again (and lets hope that this time there is no more stupid mistake :p ) it would be appreciated!

    If I had my BRB with me (It's currently in shipment while I'm moving... which I'm doing at the moment) I'd give you the reference. However to put it bluntly, when you wield a magic weapon you cannot not use the weapon. So despite owning 4 different mundane weapons, if you have a magic weapon you can't use any of the other ones. And thus, to save points, it has been made a rule that you can't own any other weapon if you take a magical weapon. It also goes along with not being able to own 'a shield and a magical shield' or 'armor and magic armor.' For reference, check the magic items page in the BRB... it should be there somewhere. And if someone can spot me the reference, I'd be grateful.

    I think the static and vunerable chameleon skinks are the crutch of this list at the moment. I would suggest replacing them with some kroxigor. I would also suggest not putting kroxigor in skink units (as both units lose their full potential by being with the other).
