Skinks with Javelins. We’re in the 2nd battle round, a unit of skinks has charged piled in and are in combat. Can I shoot during my shooting phase, and then again during my combat bc the rules state you can shoot in combat?
You can shoot in combat = you can shoot while being within 3" of an enemy unit. You can shoot only in shooting phase.
Nart thanks! what about during my opponents turn? If we’re in combat, and it’s not my turn, can my unit with shooting first shoot then follow up with melee?
You see, the condition of being able to shoot is being in your shooting phase, unless noted otherwise. So, unless some kind of ability allows you to shoot in shooting phase (for seraphon there are two ways - Unleash Hell as general ability and Fangs of Sotek ability "Parting Shot") you cannot chose a unit to shoot.
