I want to learn airbrushing, so need some advice on what I should look for when buying a airbrush? I am not looking to do anything too advance, mostly for model kits and maybe some case modding
I started out with an Aztek airbrush. I wouldn't recommend that though, because it uses nozzles instead of needles and if you switch to a needled airbrush, you may run into trouble. You can occasionally find some deals on Amazon.com. I would get an airbrush that is a double action. This means that you press down for air and pull back for paint. It will give you better control in the long run. Something like this would work to start with, but it is an off brand (that's why it is cheap): http://www.amazon.com/0-3mm-Gravity...&qid=1428081827&sr=1-14&keywords=Airbrush+kit Granted, you should watch a ton of videos on youtube about using and cleaning them as well.
One of Iwata Eclipse HP-CS Energy is its versatility. 0.35 mm needle and nozzle combination with the user and still being able to spray large areas or lines, when, finely detailed, providing the ability to spray a thin line. It also allows for use of thicker paints such as acrylics or enamels. This makes it excellent for fine art, auto-graphics, model building, sign painting and many hobbies or crafts. Take a look here. Excellent advice and points http://www.artistsupplysource.com/category/54277/airbrush-compressors-and-accessories/ For any airbrushing paint, artistsupplysource is always a very versatile brand. Also, for the beginners, they have basic uses and knowledge info on their website
