It's April first, past noon, and I don't see a thread. And I'm infused with the Impetuous nature of Chotec. Same rules as usual apply, and @Scalenex and the admins can delete this thread and make the usual one if they want. What are your plans for this April? my goals are: 1. Finish 3 units for the Aztec army 2. continue sculpting practice. 3. build another 3 units and at least one command stand.
Paint my other 6 Fireborn so that I have a full Conflagration! (my made up name for 12 Fireborn together)
I plan to finish the Chaos Dwarves blood bowl team. Then the Necromantic Horror team. Enter the short story contest. I plan to start a Blood Bowl 2020 Lizardmen Tactics guide here.
My goals for April: Finish the base for my latest Salamander. Make some painting progress on my remaining Temple Guard. Try out chipping medium and other weathering effects on some barricades for SW Legion.
My April goals: Get some base converters for my Woogity Kroxigors and finish their basing. Finish some Saurus Knights with Dark Elf Cold Ones conversions I've been working on. Paint and base some OPR Saurus Warriors and a Slann I had printed.
Good to see you jumped in to start a thread, I was held up between work stress and bathroom renovations. (You can not expect the thread to be up every first of the month before noon, though ) My hobbytime for April is very, very limited. So I will set just one goal: - Writing a short story for the competition And I am really glad if I got the time to pull that off... Grrr, Imrahil
Simple goals this month - actually painting anything at all. Specifically I'd like to complete five wanderers eternal guard, and get them based. If I have time beyond that I'll aim to complete five saurus warriors.
Just a little bit of an update to my April goals to say that I have completed three units of Aztecs. I'm also in the process of building the next three units and a command stand. Finally I will be working on my sculpting soon. I plan to make some simple torcs and jewelry. Potentially a cloak
Pretty successful so far, going to have to paint up a few star players, and then start playing around in blender more to learn to sculpt properly for 3D printing.
Since march and april kinda mashed togehter for me I'll just post my progress from both months here. The Glaivewraith Stalkers are finished and ready to play. Stripped paint from my skinks so I can give them a second chance. Sadly there were 2 casualties, but I will find a use for them and their replacements are almost ready. Posted my entry for https://www.lustria-online.com/threads/learn-how-to-sculpt-here.26442/ And some minor work some terrain and gap filling on my cold ones. All that's left is to post the Pictures on my blog. I'll probably take the end of this month and the beginning of the next one off, for important life reasons, but as soon as it's done I should be back in full swing
Well, I finished my short story, but I'm WAAAAY behind on the Fireborn. [Sigh] Just need to soldier on... LoR
Got my one goal done for this month: - Writing a short story for the competition Every thing from now on is extras Grrr, Imrahil
Unfortunately, April was not really suitable for me in terms of time for the hobby. But at least I will be able to dedicate this weekend to my MSU Skinks.
These were my goals this month: Finish the base for my latest Salamander. - DONE Make some painting progress on my remaining Temple Guard. - DONE (First rounds of highlights on skin on a further 15 TG) Try out chipping medium and other weathering effects on some barricades for SW Legion. - Part done (Chipping medium part is done, just need to add rust and streaks) I also managed to paint up 7 Star Wars Legion models this month whilst putting off working on the TG lol. I'm calling April a successful month, on to the next one
