Hi Right now I'm painting my lizardmen for my first blood bowl tournament in January. Sadly an email came just in, that the tournament is cancelled due the pandemic. And I'm a little bit down because of that and my motivation to finish them is fading. The skinks are finished but the saurus need still some work. So please, give me some positiv feedback. And yes, I know it's fishing for compliments but I can't help myself. Best regards Bee
Sorry your tournament was cancelled, that sucks. At least you'll have them done and ready to roll for the next one! The models look great btw. I love the chameleons especially!
Sad news, man. Nice team you've got there. I love the bases on the skinks, are those names 3d printed, transfers or freehand? I love the green Sauri with yellow shorts, great colors. Grrr, Imrahil
Thanks Guys! The names are from the transfer sheets. First I thought to not put them on because it's quit obvious which one is which. But they really make them look better. I'm still looking for a dann to make him my coach and I thought about buying the koxigor as Christmas gift for me
Slann coach, brilliant. Just like one of the potbellied American Football coaches that paces along the sidelines!
Your skinks already look amazing, so it would be a shame if the saurus were left unfinished, especially that they look almost done. Also don't worry about the tournament being cancelled, it's not like it was the only one that would ever happen. For now just paint your lizards and enjoy some great looking miniatures.
Made a little progress at the Saurus. I had a idea last night. Since I don't have a slann I might use the skink Priest as coach. I will convert him and make him kind of altar for the 3 block dice and the Priest is trying to pull out the skull out of the dice.
Can't think of any personally, I just applied the same techniques as on my plastic models and so far my Finecast models have turned out fine, I assume it'll be the same with Forge World models like yours
Most given advice for finecast is to be sure you cleaned al the little support spots and clean it with dish soap (and dry it afterwards) before you prime the model. From that point it should be exactly the same as your plastic models. Grrr, Imrahil
