AoS Dread Saurian TL

    I want to play with my dread in a tournament. It's mostly for fun, but I still want to do as best as I can. So going for semi-competitive if possible. This is what I have so far. Please let me know what you think and ideas to improve it.

    How come you use javelins on the skinks? Is the better to wound worth the lower range?

    Yep. The way I personally use 10 man units of skinks, is as screens and to hold objectives. I expect them to soak charges and die, so I don't really use them for shooting. I find that when I do use small 10 man units for shooting, it's because I really need to finish off a unit that has 1 or 2 wounds left. That's why I like javelins on the small units, for that better chance to wound.

    I like blowpipes on the big units of 30-40 skinks. Then they get the extra attacks and it's enough shots that when buffed by starpriests, you start doing a lot of damage.

    You'll do fine with this list if they are allowing realms pick up ghur so you can keep my colleague fighting at the top bracket
