Hello Everylizards, I hope everything is well in your respective existences. I've finally decided to take the plunge into AoS with the Seraphon, and was recommended by other lizardmen players to spend some time on this forum. You all are much more active and lively than r/seraphon, and I'm looking forward to being here. In addition to introducing myself, I was curious if there was any recommended information concerning the faction for a relative newbie to the game. Also, I was curious if the lizardmen were getting an update soon, and if I should hold off on buying the battletome or not. Once again thank you for having me and I appreciate you all taking the time to read this!
Welcome! Fellow newbie here. I too have heard the discussions online about how Seraphon players should wait before buying the batletome as an update, while not announced yet, should theoretically not be too far away. But there are far more experienced and knowledgeable folks here that can give you more educated advice.
Wecome aboard, wise decision you took. Yeah, we don't know when we will receive an update (hopefully soon, but who knows?), but ATM i would advice you to don't buy our battletome. There's not a single warscroll that is playable as written, you should limit yourself to GHB, FAQ and the app, which are basically what is required to play. Our battletome is currently valid only for the background, and I predict even that one will be subject to significant changes / improvement.
