What are your plans to finish out the year in hobbying? I will be liquidating my collection of sprues.or attempting to do so.
I will try to paint up a few more waegs and start on their riders, perhaps make a start on painting the Witch-King. Grrr, !mrahil
Current plan: Divest sprues of bits. Sort into labelled bags. If there are bodies, assign to one of the following projects: 1. Late Roman army project 2. Aztec army project 3. Stormcast + guild myrmidian 4. Undead 5. 40k soup Anything else is decided upon as I'm clipping it out. Some may just end up in a bitz bag.
Did I clear about 20 sprues today? Yes. Did I also build models that I may not paint for months? Also yes. More, along with actual work, tomorrow.
I haven't taken a photo yet, but I'd like to state I'm happy with my consolidation efforts this far. I've managed to clear twenty something sprues, and consolidated most of the remainder into a few totes. Until the next update
I did this mid-year. It certainly cuts down on storage and space. Placed them in plastic containers with identification on the front so I can see what each contains stacked on the shelf. It also meant that I have done a few more conversions on minis as now I know what I have and where every thing is...
Yea, I'm definitely wanting to reduce used space. I've been building things and clearing sprues as I do. I think I'm going to spend a few hours tonight just clearing sprues that have no bodies and thus need no building.
Good luck to your final week of 2022! I have to finish the red feathers and tan body of my Sotek model that Tehenhauin will workship!
I've built 8 Comitatenses palatini (guard Infantry, usually seen in the mobile field armies of the emperors) who are at the back with the plumes. (Thanks to mad hat on the 9th age for the lovely Christmas present.) I've also built 1 Wargames Atlantic Goth as an archer (back right) And 8 victrix unarmored late Roman infantry. From the sprues of those, an excess of Wargames Atlantic Persians, and a will to condense all the space My personal collection is taking up in my residence the rest of the models you see in the photo were made.
A character for my Myrmidia army. Or Arthur, King of the Britons, if you like Clive Owen and flaming swords
