Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - November 2022 This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple. At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else. Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link. Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link. The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc. You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section. If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress Grrr, !mrahil

My main goal is to complete the conversion of a Dreadclaw drop pod, starting from an incomplete SM drop pod.
Keeping it simple this month... -Prepare stegadons for painting -Paint second unit of salamander&handlers -Paint second unit of knights -Strip botched paint of temple guards -Finish my german tanks from last month -Assemble and paint second unit of skinks -Do what is on this list and nothing else
painting all 60 of these motherchucking archers. and more legionairies. and getting a start on some more commission work. In between actual work, which is crunch between two worlds at the moment.

Yeah... I already had an idea last evening while babysitting that I could probably do at least bomb squig from kill team. That little voice told me that it is small task. One kiddo's nap time at most.
Haha, I know this instinct! I am tempted to add "stretch goals" to my post. Related and unrelated, I was tempted to build up my second stego last night, but I remembered I need to keep one to use as a reference for resculpting a 3D model for my printer. I lost all of the stls I used to have of all my Seraphon
It's time for me to get back to work. My plans are: Paint the gryph hound from my underworlds stormcast warband Base and start painting some skinks Work on some terrain pieces
Um, ideally finish my 4 mangler squig conversions, my burna squig conversions, and convert the Squigosaur Warboss I ordered. Not paint them, just finish the conversion work. I am realistic here.

Bad news... I managed to break two of my printed temple guards, so I guess I can scratch them from this month list. Well... At least now I don't have to just presume how brittle are 3D resin printed minis Spoiler: Ouch
Some progress from me. It's been quite a breath of fresh air to work on something not Citadel. Certainly Citadel is better than Italeri and Academy and arguably better than Bolt Action in terms of miniature quality, but I have found the little details and quirks of the others quite charming. Meanwhile the Admiral and Punga minis are insanely well detailed. These will be a blast to paint. Resin minis, from any source, should be treated as brittle. I'm sorry your temple guard snapped. What minis were they?
