First stages are actually pretty tricky. You can't put to much details in them, but they need a bit of structure to make them unique; there's some interesting balance in that
Here's what a skink first form could look like I have literally no clue to what such a thing should be called.... My file is just called tiny skink
Naming creatures isn't my best skill, let's put it like that. If only I had several other languages to draw my inspiration from than the two I know While Names are something of an issue, I still mannish to come up with these three Lizard pokémon-ish creatures: They're based on Drepanosaurus and Iguanodon Like the dinosaurian posture is definitely from the iganodon, while their weird tail is from the odd drepanosaurus and their sickle clawed finger is actually based on both species (but mostly the odd-ball drepanosaurus). Check out Trey the Explainers video on Drepanosaurus if you wants to know more about this weird prehistoric creature:
And Now finally, the Slann-mon GO!!: If I were designing a pokémon game, this would be a legendary dual-type Psychic/Fairy, with an ability that boosts it's already impressive Sp. Def while asleep (Hypnotic trance, or something)
I really like it too, the dark void of space seems fitting for a creature of such vast powers Was it Warden that made an entry once that was sort of like a slann and the night sky or was it Bob? None the less; this was sort of inspired by that, at least from memory A pokémon-ish name for them could be Arternoad (Arcana or/and archaic, Eternal and toad)
it's definitely a trap. edit: on a completely different note, I was randomly invited to start playing pokemon uranium, and I like it! Do you plan to make a map of the lustrian-pokemon world?
Uranium is quite the feat, so impressive what fans can do I've played through the main game now, but I believe that there will come more for the post game in time I could try making a map
I am hoping it looks like the Lustrian continent. Already have the lines of power laid out, almost look like roads. So many possibilities...
Yeah! Something like that was also what I was thinking. I don't really excels at drawing maps, though. Not for a lack of trying, since I really think it's a neat skill; it takes some decent skills and eye for details, which one can only appreciate. I always admire people who can make great maps But I'll still give a GO! (Poképun....)
