The night's are getting longer but do not despair, it just means mighty Huanchi grows stronger. The Theme There is none. Choose whatever theme you like so long as it is at least somewhat related to Warhammer. It doesn't necessarily have to involve Lizardmen, Saurian Ancients, Salamanders or Seraphon but including them is a good idea because you sort of want to play to your audience. There is an unofficial theme to make this winter and/or Huanchi focused, but that is a recommendation, not a requirement. Even being lizard focused isn't required this time around. The Rules There are none. (Apart from the following)(So in actual fact there are some rules, I lied to you, I am sorry) -Keep your poem to an artistic minimum. Word count wont be stressed about too much in here, but ideally the poem should be more than two lines. -Keep it anonymous. Don't use your own name in the poem or use someone else's name throw them off the scent -Keep Warhammer in the story or some aspect of their world / lore. -Keep visuals and images to a minimum or none at all this is a poetry competition. -Keep em coming -Multiple entries are allowed from the same person! (limit of three per person though just for sanity's sake) -Submission deadline is January 11th noon US Central time, to submit a poem, please send a private message to me, Scalenex. I'm working on a poem, it's not done but when it is done, it will push the total poetry entries I have received thus far all the way to....one.
The original due date will be inconvenient for me and I would like to see more poems. I'm going to extend the deadline. The question is, should I extend it a little bit or a lot? Is there still interest in making more poems?
Probably end of the year, but if there is demand, I can go January 11th or even later. These days, Sundays and Wednesdays give me more free time, but I suppose if I only have a small number of poems, it won't take very long to get this up.....so you guys should make sure I have lots of work to do!
Poems are slowly trickling in though I certainly wouldn't mind if they came in faster. We are still well below double digits. The deadline is now early morning January 11th. I will not move the deadline again. If you want to send me more than one poem, that is awesome, but please send me more than one private message. I have a tendency to temporarily miss second poems when they are bundled together.
I got my poem done, I might make a second one later, but no promises. With that poem, and Killer Angel's poem, This gives us a new total Lets try to get to double digits at least. Now I want a cookie.
