That would be correct. I'm going to mix in other heads and conversions too.
Fantastic work on your aztecs!
They look amazing as a massed group.
What contrast paints do you use for the skin?
Fyreslayer flesh and G-man flesh. I vary the use rates and intend to further dabble with skin tone ranges
Good to know, they look pretty good with the tones you did. I will have to experiment with these at some point too.
Do note they are over Rust-Oleum camo tan
My client accepted my commission scheme for his skorne army. So I've got a bunch more work that has opened up for me.
So I may have did a thing....
Battleship is going to be blue, and the space marine strike cruiser (with eagle prow, because I like them) are going to be from a red armored successor chapter of the iron hands .
I got nostalgic for BFG after the recent posts on the forum.
Just popping in to note the following:
BFG fleet is primed
I've made progress on more skorne. I've decided to batch these in groups of 5 rather than 10. Mainly due to the ungodly amount of surface area on the robes.
Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy some of the war machine/horses sculpts, but some of these miniatures have really bad structural design
Painted the first Vindictor from my dominion set last night on a lark.
Also finished up 4 more praetorians from the skorne commission.
Panzer Lehr in 20 minutes. Inspiration struck, lol.
Medbury knows how to make elves that are fun to paint, I've had a blast painting this example elf with two handed sword for my webstore.
I may have highlighted too bright...
Center dude is for reference to where they are in the process
That set is done and the next set is built.
Out of interest what size bases are your Fantasy Einherjar on?
32mm. Chaos warriors sized
What gaming system are these models from?
Mantic riftforged orcs, with heads from Wargames Atlantic Einherjar.
*Cheesy announcer voice* both of which you can get for 20% off at Mcdougall Designs! *End cheesy announcer voice*
I may have done some priming today.
