Hi guys! I've been lurking around here for a few weeks learning a bit about how Seraphon play and I thought I'd introduce myself and say thanks for all the good info. I was only vaguely aware of WFB back in the heyday but I became a fan because of Total War. I won my first AoS game today on Tabletop Simulator! My friend and I played a 1000 pt game to learn the ropes. I used Lizard Wizard's Skink Bomb list and my friend used Pestilens. The game is really fun! I made some rookie mistakes and we had some back-and-forth. My friend got a double turn and my 40 skink blob got shredded and my 10x skink screen got finished off (they held in valiantly though). Then I got a double turn and Kroaknado celestial deliveranced his Verminlord and I summoned some chameleon skinks. The chameleon's mortal wounds finished off an out of position plague furnace and it was game over. I don't have any models yet but hopefully I get some soon.
Thanks! I found it at this guy's Deviantart page https://www.deviantart.com/cryptid-creations/art/Daily-Paint-1097-Bearded-Dragon-573938481 I have a few questions: What's the difference between the bound and normal versions of endless spells? I can't move balewind vortex but I can teleport it correct? Are there any guides on how to position the models/units? I'm having a hard time with getting my ranged heavy guys in a good spot first round.
Welcome aboard! Predatory endless spells are moved at the beginning of each battle round, by the player who gets the second turn. Bound ones are only moved by the seraphon player. Balewind vortex: yes, you can teleport it with lords pf space and time (LoSaT), if you play the starborne subfaction To place your hitters (especially things as salamanders), LoSaT is one ot the available options.
Welcome to the Forum and... Welcome to Jurassic Park!!!! Take a good look around the forum as there is a ton of really good threads that will answer a lot of questions for you. There are also a lot of really helpful gamers who will answer any questions that you have. Believe me, there are no stupid questions (unless you ask the same one twice ) Have fun!
You stole my most common catch phrase! So I'll have to use my second most common welcome catch phrase the one I use for lurkers.
