Given the current world situation, it is hard for me to get my hands on the salamander hunting packs. What can be a replacement for the time being?
Lots of things can replace them. Were you wanting to take them for a specific purpose like melee or shooting? Or was it just because they are good at everything?
I'm not sure i understand the question. option A) it's hard to get sallies, what units could i use to replace them? option B) it's hard to get sallies by GW, is there a different producer that sells acceptable "act as sallies"?
I have been trying a couple of lists, trial by fire in Australian tournaments and really, I don't think there is a replacement. I've converted mine it off khorne pups and greenstuff.
Is it possible to somehow post pictures? That would be a cool conversion and it would be an excuse for me to practice with green stuff
There are several 3D companies that have Sallys as proxies but my favourites are the ones from Raven Twin. If you don't want to buy 3D print, there are a few threads about proxies, but my recommendation is Flesh Hounds with texture paint over it as scales or green stuff.
I've also seen some with texture paint/greenstuff as magma, pretty cool. Flesh Hounds are great models, haven't gotten around to converting mine
