Can Terradons drop their rock when they make a charge move?

I checked the rules and Battletome and will say that they can. As long as they end their charge within 1/2" from another enemy unit.

    Grrr, Imrahil

the rock drop can happen during ANY move. as long as they pass over the unit. so if you have them at three inches and roll a 9, you can use those extra inches to get them to pass over at least one models base and trigger the bomb run.

If the rule states "move" and not "normal move" then it applies to all movement including charges and pile ins.

I have an additionnal and tecnical question which Can be considered as cheese but I cant read the opposite anywhere

During the pile in I can move of 3'' in direction of the closest ennemy unit
Can I do 2'' in front to drop the rock and 1 back because I cant land on the adversary unit - Does it make cense ?
Because I am still targetting the nearest ennemy unit

Yes. You can move wherever you like during pile in, you simply have to end as close or closer to the nearest model at the start of the pile in

You can be surrounding a unit and have each model go 0.1 forwards and 0.1 back just so that their bases go over the target unit

Another question about terradon but I didnt want to open another topic just for that.

I understood that the "fly" apply only during a mouvement and the unit IS consider on the ground during all the other phase of the battle.

So my question IS what about the "sight Line" for shooting ?
Do I have to draw this line from the ground or can I do it at the level of the model ?

    Thanks you for your help

Line of sight in AOS is true line of sight. That means if you get down to the table, eye level of the model shooting and it can see the terradon, it can shoot it. Thats the only rule. If you can see it you can shoot it.
