Tomorrow I'm going up against OnG, in a 2500pt game.
I got a few questions regarding my Lord/hero setup!

I can run a Slann w. Harmonic Convergence, Channeling Staff and Focus of Mystery and either of two possible Oldblood builds:

    OPTION 1
Oldblood w. Cold One, Armour of fortune, Dawnstone, Greatweapon, Other Tricksters Shard.
    +
Scar Veteran w. Cold One, Glittering Scales, Sword of Striking, Shield, BSB

    OR

    OPTION 2:
Oldblood w. Cold One, Armour of Destiny, Dawnston, Greatweapon
    +
Scar Veteran w. Coldone, Armour of fortune, Greatweapon, Luckstone, BSB

Which one of the two Options, would you choose?
One is slightly more a killer vs everything, whether they have wards saves or are ethereal,
while the other is the "recommended" survival build.

Hope you will help me, making a Choice :)

You want ward saves on both.
Between doom divers and troll vomit, the ward save will be more useful than other options.

I'd also consider halberds instead of great weapons. S6 is going to be plenty good against most things, and I3 will strike before orcs, and trolls.
You don't want to suffer death by vomit because you took a great weapon.

Oddly, I just posted a kernel of wisdom from my game against orcs and goblins; walk between worlds kills fanatics due to you being able to walk on top of them without taking any damage; thanks to being ethereal when you do the walking.

Interesting idea, I will remember that :)
    - Thank you for your advice, will defiantly go ward-save-mode then!
