Hi everyone, I have played my first three matches so far with the following 1000 point army: 15 Guard Eternity Warden 20 Wariors Saurus Sunblood Skink Starpriest 3 Rippers So far I have been holding my ground in matches against Ironjawz and Skaven (although Warpfire throwers hurt). For my increase to 1.500 points I'm seeing three scenario's. I curious at what you all think is the most fun to play. Base for every scenario are the folowing units: 15 Guard (3 groups) Eternity Warden Eternal starhost formation 20 Wariors Skink Starpriest Which in total should be 820 points. The three possible scenario's: Scenario 1 - Shooty death This scenario would add some ranged options, very usefull against the Urruk mega boss (and other threats I would rather shoot first, yeah Warpfire throwers Im looking at you). Sunblood 5 Chameleon Skinks 3 Rippers Bastilladon Which in total should be 1500 points. Scenario 2 - Magic v1 This scenario would add a heavy magic component to the army. Perhaps not as effective as the shooty scenario but it also has some more utility and staying power. Slann Astrolith bearer Engine of the gods Which in total should be 1480 points. Scenario 3 - Magic v2 Not much need explaining.. Lord Kroak. Sunblood 940 Lord Kroak 540 Which in total should be 1480 points.
I would go with option 1 shooty death. Get the Bastiladon in there and then when you roll up to 2k I would go for a bloodclaw or a shadowstrike to compliment the eternal.
