I am very new to this game but I read some things about Kroak being OP and since it's a single model I hope I can paint him up in under two weeks. I have bad news for you. Kroak isn't OP anymore, but actually pretty crappy now because of the nerfs in the latest FAQ and errata. Unless you are stupidly lucky that list probably won't put you into an advantageous position.
Yeah I tend to agree, drop Kroak for a Slann and use the extra points for a Astrolith Bearer and anything else you fancy, use the EotG to bring in cheap units. Hmm so how come Kroak is nerfed? Main reason I got him was because of six spells and potentially six summoning per turn!
