I think it has a lot of potential, may I ask why you're taking a priest? You can get re-roll saves from the slann and the starhost, and I imagine you'll want to take the re-roll wounds and saves once the banner is planted?

The priest stays with the Skinks and supports those. Skinks are a bit less squishy if they can reroll their saves and if thetvhave to run for some objective the reroll for the run is nice as well.
I admit you don't really need him though, two more Razordons are a good option as well. The only reason why I don't play four of them is that I only own two. :D

I like it and think it has potential - Coincidentally I've come up with a similar list im planning on trying:

Engine of the Gods - Coronal Shield
Slann Starmaster - Incandescant Rectrices, General, Vast Intellect
    Saurus Astrolith Bearer

    40 x Skinks - Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
    40 x Skinks -Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
    10 x Skinks -Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
    3 x Razordons
    3 x Skink Handlers

    Bastiladon
    Bastiladon

    Thunderquake Starhost

My only concern is how it will fare against elite, high save troops/armies (something im usually worried about). I guess a pro of your list is that you could always summon a couple of salamanders to put some pressure on them.

Let us know how it goes if you end up testing it.

I'm actually starting to think maybe drop the 40 skink unit down to 10 and have 250 summoning points.... I have a lot of models to pick from and it could give me a lot of options....

Actually I think I'm going to drop the unit down to 10 and take 2 x 5 Chameleon skinks instead.

Chameleons can be very annoying for enemies, although they don't do much against heavily armored opponents.

I'm taking them to snipe characters and draw troops away from the rest of my army as I pick units off (hopefully!)

I ran a similar list to this today against a skaven army. I swapped a basti for a Stegadon with flamers to help counteract the horde aspect. Lost the game from starstrike battleplan due to objective drop but i was able to wipe majority of his board.

Well sometimes the battleplans just don't like you. Sounds like you played it well.
