Nice job! You painted those well. The only thing I'd say is that one temple guard with his halberd pointing forward must be b!tch when your playing. He must get in the way a ton...
Thank you all! Ive been painting for 11 years and I got excited with the release of the new lizardmen range because ive been wanting to do them forever. This is actually my first white undercoat army in about 6 years so it was kinda a test for myself to see if I could pull it off but I think its turning out to be one of my favorite armies. When I picture a lustrian army in my mind I can imagine its full of exotic or rare metals and golds so I wanted very strong gold/yellow theme to really stand out on the tabletop. Thanks again! Yea the champion is kinda a pain to keep in his place.
Very nice. But I don't like the shields... Too... Yellow... Maybe something to break it up a bit? Brown, red... Something along those lines... Cheers!
I think the camera made these models look alot more yellow then they actually are in person. Ill be posting pics of my almost finished stegadon here in a day or so its lookin pretty good so far I think.
Don't worry about the rest of these color blind posters. I'm a big fan. They work fantastic with combining both the Guard and Slann. I'd only wish there was more going on in respect to the bases. Very tiny detail and I don't even see it as a hinderance to being an awesome unit.
Thanks! yea im actually waiting for my local store to get in the new "dead grass" so then ill have a mix of green and brown grass on the bases. Im also gonna get the new basing kit and put pieces of flint on my kroxigors bases to kinda make them a centerpiece unit.
Yeah, I agree with the shields being to yellow. You might want to break up the colors on it a bit, I can't tell where the scale shield stops and the metal glyphs begin. The Slann looks to be listing to one side too. Other then that the unit looks superb! Awesome blending on the skin.
