After a narrow defeat given out by some Skaven, I had a few ideas to fix my issues. This list heavily drawn from @LizardWizard but with more carnosaurs. The idea is to get a few good alpha strikes and cut out the lynchpin of the enemy army before they can do anything to react. well it's a fun nerative army. i would replace Mystical Unforging with a better spell, but other then that it'll do what you wan't it to
i would one of the mane problems with Mystical Unforging is that it has so few targets usually 2 or less. i wan't to actually use the spells i take. plus all the reast of whats bad with that spell
Recently I have liked putting Stellar Tempest on my Skinkpriest more than my Slann. I find that I am more likely to need ST than Summon Starlight, now that so many tigers are unmodified 6's. And most of the time I want my CCP from the Slann. If it weren't for casting Cogs from the Starprist I would even be considering swapping them for standard Skink Priest. All this is to say that I tend to put a utility spell on my Slann that I am likely to cast turn one. Due to the our allegiance ability that lets us swap the Slann's spell each of our end of Hero phases. I have been taking Mystic Unforging or Claws. I sometimes cast Claws on a group of Razordons before I LoSaT them if I math out not needing 3 CCP.
ya -1 to be hit doesn't really help most of our low saves now adays, maybe if we had a large regiment that could actually benefit from it
Yeah, I like taking both priest variants when I run Eternal Starhost or FoS. Having -1 to be hit and rerolling saves can make Saurus Warriors and Eternal Guard respectably durable. Sadly the damage isn't there to chew through other meta units.

So it did pretty well in a 1000 point game, lost by 1 victory point but killed my opponents heroes entirely
