Who cares, Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you .........
... happy birthday, dear Bracnos, happy birthday to you!
I am very happy I joined this community you're all very nice thanks again
oh so do any of you have any tips on how best to magnetize my units. I have seen a few videos but none of them actually deal with lizardmen. All of them were mainly for Warhammer 40k stuff, any tips would be most appreciatedThank you
.by that i mean so that i can switch my taradons to become ripperdactyls when ever needed
So just wanted to post what i did today...my old blood what do you think i know i suck at high lights but i am trying it with him i hope it will come out well
OK i completed my oldblood i really like how turned out
Any comments/criticism is more than welcome
Well done he looks mighty fine
Thanks, got to ask a impartial party am i getting better?
You certainly are! You should be proud of this one!
Yes your improving with every model, keep at it now and try looking at each model objectively and think were could you improve, and don't be scared at trying new things.
I'm doing 6 flyers and I'm only glazing the body's and wings for shade and highlight but it's something new.
Great paintjob! I really like your old blood.
thanks everyone for the encouraging words, next I'm going to be trying to add more foliage to my bases. you can see my first attempt with the old blood
Looks similar to the plants that I use for basing. For bases with such structures like the ruins on the old bloods or priests bases for my taste it looks best like you did it with just one or two smaller plants.
OK here is my first real attempt at a kit bash take at look at my WIP Primal Temple guard, got the Idea from @Craken with the post of the Savage Saurus.
For me i am thinking of them as the First and oldest Temple guards that have bread to protect Lord Kroak, another model i hope to get soon ^_^
I dont know how i would want to paint them but i might have them be albino...dont know if i can do that type of paint right but going to give it a shot. Any comments/ Criticism welcomed
First off I want to say I like what you are doing with the little alligator clip to hold the model there, clever!
Second, I think albino would look quite nice! Your first paint job on prior model was good!
I saw you had some concerns with highlights, if you're looking for subtler highlights, a light drybrush will be good
Looks good, Albino colour scheme the trick is to have a contrasting colour to help pull the eye into the model.
Have a look at the Gor rok I painted and @Xlanax_lot, @ASSASSIN_NR_1, @Chicken Lips, @n810 and many others for an idea of what you can achieve, we all went with a tinge to the white to help the model not appear chalky but you could go yellow, orange, green.
