Hey everyone, just joined the board here and was told I should start one of these. I'd like to get some opinions from people who really know their Seraphon. Here's what I've got lined up for painting as well as a few more complete models. Any criticisms and comments are very welcome, always looking to improve my skills.
Here are some Warriors I've finally gotten around to trying a scheme on. I think I like this colour combo, I just don't know what colour I would highlight their scales/crests or what colour shields I'd give them.
This will be my 3rd painted army between Sigmar and 40k. I've been collecting Seraphon for the longest but for whatever reason kept putting off painting these guys. I've been painting seriously on and off for like 5 years. I'm aiming for bright colours that tie together across the whole army, while still resembling realistic patterns. Mostly just going for tabletop quality except on a select few models that will get special attention.
Been doing a whole bunch of base coats on my saurus warriors. Figured I better tackle a good chunk of them at once. This is about half of them I'm working on.

I do like the yellow shield and will probably do that for everyone. I think orange matches too much with their actual crest and I want to have the dark blue/bright orange combo across my army.
Well now that all the Seraphon are basically just astrally projected memories I figured I would pick a really bold colour theme to sort of reflect that.
They aren't. Well, Maybe. Some of them. The lore team actually mentioned that some of them might just get teleported in from an undisclosed location while others are really just remembered. I love how they let that possibility open since I like that much more.
Interesting. So they've started new spawnings in the new world? I just remember hearing that only the Slann survived the end of times or whatever they called it. Either way their lore is great and I love how my only warhammer army survived the transition into Sigmar.
They didn't tell us much actually. They deliberately let that open for speculation. I'll see if I can dig up those posts but I think they were on Facebook somewhere...
Slowly but surely the first block of Saurus is shaping up! I'm thinking of doing some units with orange and some with yellow shields, but idk. Maybe when I paint my guard I will give them a different colour shield.
Well, the end is in sight. I'm running out of a few base paints by now haha. They're shaping up though, I hope to get them finished up within a week or so. Sorry for the lighting on the photos. I'll be sure to take proper ones once they're all done.
