Hi everyone, I'm very excited to be a part of this forum! I'm from Australia; the land of deadly lizards, so I should fit right in. I've had a look around at some of your miniatures and I'm so impressed with the talent and diversity of colours in your armies. Hopefully I can contribute in my own little way. Last night I started a post in the painting blogs called "Deer Riffs' thinking, inking and skinking". I'm hoping to update it weekly with my progress in this wonderful hobby. In doing so, I get to document my learning experience, give some of you grizzled veterans a sense of nostalgia for what it is like to be an absolute beginner, and for anyone taking up Seraphoning(?) in the future who stumbles upon my blog to learn from my mistakes and a successes. I'm really looking forward to creating this blog and I hope you all get something out of it, I know I've enjoyed the time I've spent looking through the forums and paint blogs so far. All the very best, deer riffs
I said it iver in the inking thinking and skinking thread, but welcome aboard! Your Seraphon look great so far, can't wait to see more.
Welcome to the forums! We have varied resources to help or inspire you in gameplay, painting, and fluff. We look forward to your contributions!
Welcome to the forum @deer riffs ! Your fellow countryman is already here: @spawning of Bob . He claims to be in charge down there, but I remain skeptical ...and don't forget the deadly spiders! You guys have a lot to them as well.
That would be "inking and skinking", Bowse. Show some respect. And I only claim to be Clown Prince of Fluff, not dictator for life of Australustria. Yet. Make sure you check out the inspiring fiction in the Fluff Subforum, Darling Riffs.
And with that the Australian revolution was afoot. Things would never be the same. Dictator of Bob had arrived.
Of course he is, first they worshipped the crocodile hunter, now they worship the spider wrangler. Common progression. Oy that's a pretty bad typo, my aplogies.
