http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat1380000&prodId=prod240001a I think that the round blobby thing (above the large cracked square tile in the main pic there) looks like an admirable stegadon poo.
hmmmm i think that it is a good idea but i believe we can find means that are equal to the task at a more 'fair' price
they ARE fair priced. you look at the price of resin and eched brass at any modelling store and you'll see what i meen
Not sure if the leaves bend. I want the base kit though. I think 20 bucks is a great buy for all that. Hey atleast its better then a nearly 60 dollar plastic steam tank.
Nope, that's why I ask (though etching was what I specialised in when I did my art foundation degree - the printmaking type on copper however, not little brass). Bendable leaves will be fantastic, I must say.
I find that a lot of really great bases are just made out of wood chips or other similar found objects. It's a pretty good idea if you're not great at basing, but I don't think I'll be picking it up. I'm not going to lie; brass etched leaves are a pretty good idea, though.
I just bought 2 of the new basing kits and I think they are awesome. They come with alot of different stuff and I think its all well worth 20 bucks.
