Hmmmm, I'v not used glazes before (I know how they'd work theoretically, but don't have any). Im not sure what washes I'd use if any, perhaps I could glaze them blue? Or I could do a couple in gold to morrow the silver on the chameleons? Glad you folks are liking them an far
Washing them blue will give the silver a really nice depth, for gold try reikland fleshtone. A glaze is thinner than a wash but you apply it like a layer so as to control the colour, look in my blog at the converted deathbringer the shield is glazed red and green over silver, pg12 second to last pic http://www.lustria-online.com/threa...inter-bsb-and-camo-skinks-added.15934/page-12
That shields really nice, gives it a sort of iridescent look. I might try the blue glaze then thankyou.
NP, we you highlight the scales you could do runefang steel and apply it with a detail brush on the top edge of the scales and then if your feeling really brave take white scar and dot the top edge of the bigger scales to represent reflection
Hey just discovered this forum, your chameleon skinks look awesome!! I think if I´m allowed I´ll copy get inspired from them, if you don´t mind, of course . I also love that Ork Helicopter, really nice conversion.
