Aaaaall right, here we go for this thread. Quite simple for the first part.

I wanted a little more dynamism in the pose of the kroxigor, and a better face.

    So... Green stuff and bam!

The jumping one looks a bit like Zilla (american Godzilla). Why not...

Now. Onto the magmadroth. I want to make a howdah from bitz.

    Here's the magmadroth done:

As you can see, the space available between the two dorsal sails is quite restricted.

Now for the howdah, I have a carnosaur chair (didn't need one for the troglodon).

I also have these I'd like to use

Now here is a stegadon howdah set, but I really don't want to use any, exept the excess skinks. I also have a few other basti skinks, 2 troglodon oracles, and if necesary a few on foot skinks.

Now tell me, how would you make the conversion?

Wow! This is real good stuff! Excellent performance on the krox! And good idea with the eotg parts, too! And nice to see I'm not the only one using rubber bands that way... ;)

These are incredible! Great action on that Kroxigor! I would make most of the parts you have to build a flat howdah wit the stairs/chair bit at the back. Use the flags in the sides. If that makes sense.

Excellent kroxigor!! And looking forward to see how that engine of the god turns out! For a start I´d recommend adding some kind of flat surface (maybe in different levels connected with stairs to give the skinks and the engine of the gods something to stand on) and then detail it from there.
I want to see what do you come up with!

Very cool projects, the magmadroth is quite high at the head and tail so were your making the howdah is low down which will restrict what you can do, I would make a 2 tier howdah.

bottom tier just a platform with a gap allowing to place items like a crystal maybe, 2nd tier can then be built with more freedom.

Red is where would I fixate it, green would be flor line, and blue would be wall line under for. Use plastic sprues for construction, use thermal isolation
    1461928802177-860948001.jpg
For filling the gaps and then clay for protection so that color doesn't eat thru thermal isolation. If you like something about some part, cut it out and use only the small piece of that part. Make something with stares if you ask me.

Nice kroxigor I like it a lot. :)
