Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - February 2024 This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple. At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else. Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link. Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link. The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc. You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section. I had a nice game of Battle Companies with my son yesterday with this resulting to do list: - paint a Warg Rider - convert and paint a Morgul Stalker - convert and paint an Orc Tracker - convert and prime a Numenorian with spear and shield for my sons Company Furthermore: - paint a piece of scenery - read, vote and review the stories in the Short-story contest Grrr, !mrahil
Last month I bashed my goal of 100 infantry miniatures or equivalents. I reached 144 infantry miniatures or equivalents by end of month. My goal for this month is 244 infantry figures or equivalents.
First update of the month: Paint Wardog Karnivore Paint Nurgle Rhino - I ehm... Washed it... Paint 4 marines Convert Rhino knock-off to Nurgle transport Add Feathered Serpent entry Assemble rest of Hunters of Huachi box - clipped off sprue and cleaned most of the parts Start working on Chaos knight - bottom superstructure assembled I also preshaded Wardog Stalker that I had in the office.
The short-story contest is up and running, go over there and read some great stories. Once I get done with the current round of skeleton cavalry I have on the block, I will be at approximately 242 infantry figures or equivalents. I'm hoping to blow past this with some more commission items and such.
Second update of the month: Not much to report, kiddo is sick again, I took care of him and then spent four days in fever, only half awake. the joy of parenting Last two days, I had some time while kiddo naps after lunch, so I played with some greenstuffing on knight. I'll post some pictures soon on my blog.

I hate to do this, but I love LoTR so I feel it dutiful. Numenorian Numanorian sounds like we are dancing to early 2000's eurovision hits on a webcam.
