I became aware of Lustria dot com thanks to N810. I became aquainted with N810 thanks to the chat feature on a terrain site: Terragenesis. Terragenesis is presently in the process of a slow, thread at-a-time reboot. On the new site I spotted a very nice terrain project which is just getting started: A lizardman ziggurat which will have swap out top pieces.
Pretty kool pyramid, Pen. Interest to see what he does with the top section. Oh and thanks for the shout out.
that looks promissing btw...this terrain project is running on a Dutch forum. http://www.gwhobby.net/forum/index.php?topic=19984.0 Text is in dutch but the pics are self explanatory.
I am giving this thread a bump with a new link to go check out: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/67017-lizardmanaztec-ish-display-base/ The project has gotten to the picture linked next, but do go visit the thread, there are many, many step by step in-progress photos: It is starting to get interesting and nearing completion. The person posting it goes by Vegascat.
SethDrailloc, just kept rolling right on after the first little pyramid. He's doing nothing by halves and has moved on to Sotek Pools, stands of bamboo and jungle, Mayan huts, a really big pyramid ...that one link goes to a whole table. Found his to do list:
That´s the threat, together with the terrain wench´s youtube channel, that inspired me to do some terrain!! I was planning to do a pyramid like the big one, but that´d be too much copying...
Amazing stuff! Thank you for the links. Here is one I found recently: Lizardmen Lair done by Law at the Dwarven Forge. Spoiler
I was thinking something like that would be perfect for Lustria City of Gold/Mordheim! So many projects to do...
