Finished 5 Blood Warriors. Each one took about 2hrs. Which is about three times my normal speed.

They are quite clean. Normally, that's awesome. But they look like they need more blood effects

Really great stuff, I wouldn't have guessed you spent only 2 hours on each of them!

Good job sir, be proud !
Have you got any big khorne brutes to try your hand at - maybe a thirster :)?

I have never been a huge fan of demons. They lack personality and agency minus the very few named characters. I find a mortal who knowingly serves one of the Ruinous Powers to be more narratively interesting. That being said, someone recently gifted me an unpainted Skarbrand that had been collecting dust on their hobby desk. So I will paint him up eventually.

Oh I think you could give him some character ;P a little blood and gore here, a little there - maybe rework the pose, paint him up to fit your ‘mortals’ and hey presto a nice bloody centre piece better collecting dust at his finest than as raw grey plastic sprues ;D

Skarbrand is a cool model, get it painted.

Finished the five other Bloodwarriors and a Slaughter Priest with Hackblade. Next on the to do list is 30 Chaos Warriors with Halberds and a Chaos Warshrine. Still haven't settled on the paint scheme for my Slaves to Darkness units. I want it to be something that would fit with any given Chaos army I paint. I am leaning towards a white and black scheme.

If I wasn't going purple with my chaos stuff I was going to do white armor / black accessories and go nuts with blood splatter effects which would stand out so well against the white. I think you could pull off a real good army with a similar scheme for sure!

You were the positive feedback I needed. Lol. Going to do white armor. I will probably do the shields and helms with white and black patterns. Bars, Stripes, handprints, knots, ect. I want to do the cloaks two-toned red on one side and black on the other. Not sure if I want the outsides of the cloaks to be black or red though. I might do the leathers in back or a light rich brown. Will depend on how they look for test models.

Post a pic when you do the test model

I don't know if you need further inspiration, but this little guy is one of the coolest chaos warrior paint jobs I've ever seen (and what made me think about possibly doing my army in white)
