Thank you. This one was for my mother-in-law. She is a big fan of Snoopy and Woodstock. Previously I had made her a Snoopy ornament, so eventually in needed to complete the set.
Wow, that is awesome work, man! Is this two layers of wood? (bottom layer dark and top layer light colored) Or is it one piece and did you burn/cut in the image? Grrr, !mrahil

Something completely different. I picked up a brand new tool, a SawStop table saw. I've done a lot of scroll sawing over the years, but never much woodworking beyond that. Time to try to learn some new skills. Anyways, the table saw needed a stand, so I built one. It's my first "big" project and also my first project where I've used my new saw. It's sitting on 3" casters so I can wheel it about my very small workshop when needed. I used pocket screws (for the very first time) to assemble it. The empty section to the left of the saw is a space that will eventually feature a side support table which will come in handy when I am cutting larger pieces of wood. Underneath the table top is a storage area where I can store a bunch of other tools and stuff.
The planter had been left nearly finished for nearly two months while we waited for our opportunity to pick up some free patio stones. Luckily we found a listing for free stones and used them to set up the platform for the planter. After that, the finishing touches were added to the planter. The majority of the wood used was reclaimed lumber from our old fence. That's why some of the boards aren't as pretty as if they had been purchased new. The only lumber we purchased new were the 2x4s. Here she is... Next step is to add the liner (landscaping fabric) and dirt!
Thank you my friend! The soil has been added and the project is finished. Unfortunately, the growing season is just about done . @Mrs. NIGHTBRINGER decided that she will plant some garlic in a few weeks. She tells me that garlic is best planted when the weather begins to cool and will be ready to be harvested late spring. Everything else though will have to wait until next year.
Nice. There is nothing like freshly picked veggies. We have a farm near where we live that grows hard-core organic corn. Freshly cooked corn on the cob? Picked 1 hour before? With English butter and salt? Unbelievable.
Made a box for @Mrs. NIGHTBRINGER a few weeks ago. Placed her birthday present in it. I still got some learning to do, but it's not too bad for my first attempt at box making using my table saw.
