I would be too
My wife keeps threatening that I'll have a whole house for models if I keep going the way I'm going...
As if I needed any encouragement!
Okay, admittedly this one has nothing to do with Warhammer, but I thought I'd share a picture of my latest woodworking project. I made my wife and I matching White Lotus tiles. We're both huge fans of the show Avatar: The Last Airbender. Iroh is our favourite character and we love the idea of the Order of the White Lotus.
Here are the competed tiles. I cut them from Walnut, Maple and Red Cedar.
Here is the image of the tile directly from the show:
Wow that's awesome! I love that show too, such a wonderful piece of art.
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it!
I love avatar. It's never off topic if it's about Avatar
Wow! That's amazing! They look as though they were both cut from the same piece of wood! Great work!
Thank you so much for the words of encouragement; I'm happy you like them!
My GOD!! those woodworking skills are AMAZING!
They are super impressive!
Three different types of wood? Dang that is an amazing level of precision!
Thank you. It's something new I decided to try. I'm glad everyone seems to like it!
A little more work on my house terrain (after a very long delay). Finished the stones for the top of the chimney.
That's an adorable little house!
Thank you kindly good sir.
Now it is on to finishing its base!
Another 12 months then .........
Give or take!
You cannot rush "art".
A bit more work on the house. The chimney topper is glued into place. The house has been affixed to its base and I laid down a layer of filler using this technique.
The white filler makes it a bit hard to make out the detail, but it showed up better once it has been base coated and dry-brushed.
@Crowsfoot : progress! Maybe I'll even get it finished by years end!
